Lisa has experience with all levels of learners. For each of the twelve years of her public school experience, she has worked with at least one period of remedial students. She has been an innovator of effective programs for "at risk" students throughout her career. In 1995, she pioneered the GOLD program at Galena High School where at-risk students were placed in a blended English, Science, and Math program with considerable success. She pioneered the Math Credit Recovery at Spanish Springs High School in 2003/2004 and 2004/2005. Lisa has taught honors level math classes to upper level students and has enjoyed the challenging curriculum for the last ten years. She is a rare teacher with multiple areas of expertise, uniquely qualifying her in the role of Executive Director of Custom Learning Academy.
Lisa and her husband, Tim, have three boys in the Truckee Tahoe Unified School District. The Crosby's enjoy the winter sports and summer activities that are unique to Tahoe as well local sports programs.
