All courses are taught with a "mastery based" approach. Concepts need to be mastered by all students before moving on with new content. Courses have a one year time limit, and may end a week or two early or late depending on the group. Retakes offered on all exams and traditional cumulative semester finals will be given. Classes meet 2 hours per week. Students taking math courses must meet an additional 2 hours/week for assessments and studying/mastery of concepts. Open learning times are available to fulfill the requisite Tuesday-Friday, 3-5, and Sundays 4-7. If additional tutoring is needed for students in the small group setting, on certain concepts or prior to the retake of an exam, then tutoring can be scheduled as needed to follow the standard tutoring rate.
