Addison is a 13 year old Truckee local and a full-time student at Custom Learning Academy. Addison is also a promising ski racer for the Squaw Valley Ski Team.

As Addison improves as a racer, his training schedule becomes more and more rigorous. He supplements weekend training with midweek training days and camps throughout the year. In order to work around a busy training regimen, and keep his academic level on par with his sports accomplishments, Addison started full time school at Custom Learning Academy as a seventh grader.

Attending C.L.A. not only accommodated an ever-changing training schedule for skiing, but also allowed Addison to move up a grade level in math, introduced him to a foreign language, and pushed him to become a better writer. He even found the time to learn guitar with C.L.A.'s own music teacher. Because of his flexible schedule and the ability to customize his weekly workload, Addison was able to attend midweek training days at Squaw Valley as well as ski camps in Mt. Hood, Mammoth, and even Austria.

All of the extra time on snow paid big dividends for Addison. During the 08-09 season, Addison became one of just three J4 boys in all of California to qualify for the Junior Olympics at Brundage Mountain in McCall, Idaho. There, he proved himself against skiers from across the Western US, with 2nd and 3rd place podium finishes. Addison closed out the 08-09 racing season at the Far West Championships in Mammoth, with a clean 1-1-1 sweep in all three disciplines: Giant Slalom, Slalom and Super G. For his efforts, he took home the Brendan Allan Trophy, awarded to the top Far West J4 male.

Addison plans to continue pursuing and perfecting his chosen sport, while at the same time, pushing himself as a student.
