Pick up locations: Reno (Robb Drive), Glenshire (Glenshire Drive stops) and Truckee (Home delivery if in town limit)

Would you like to not have to worry about your student's transportation to school? We can do that for $5 each way! For $10 per day or $1800 per year*, or $187.50/mo., you can have this dependable transportation service. (*Prices based on 11 passengers.) We are very excited to offer this service to our CLA families beginning 2013-2014. Please complete the Transportation Registration form with next year's Registration Packet.

Financial Assistance for School Tuition (FAST):

Applications due 5/30/13

Any family interested may apply for financial assistance through the FAST (Financial Assistance for School Tuition) program. To be considered for Financial Assistance, the online submission deadline for all applications is May 30, 2013. Your tax return must follow the submission, and be postmarked by May 25, 2013. Our goal is to have an award determination made by the time re-enrollment contracts (with scholarships)are issued on June 1, 2013.

This is the only opportunity to obtain financial assistance or scholarships for the upcoming school year.

2013 Summer Camps

Custom Learning Academy is now registering participants for our summer camps. Each themed week-long camp runs from 9:00-3:00 and includes fun learning activities and outdoor recreation. Camps maintain a 10-to-1 student to teacher ratio and are taught by CLA teachers. Please see the flyers below. Camps for middle school students to be announced shortly.

2013 Summer School - Grades 7-12

Custom Learning Academy is now planning 2013 Summer School classes. The dates of Summer School sessions are as follows:

Session 1: July 8-July 25th

Session 2: July 29-August 15.

Each session earns a semester of credit, and costs $600 for a small group class. The classes max out at 5 students. We teach any subject with advance registration, high school math classes most popular: Geometry, Algebra 2 or PreCalculus. (Recommended for retake only in summer.) Class times are arranged with students as they sign up, with typical times being 9-10:30 a.m. M-Th or 10:30-12:00 a.m. M-Th.*

*Individual classes can happen at dates and times other than our sessions with a consultation meeting. These classes are billed at $60/hr

IOWA Test Scores Released

Fourth year of Outstanding Iowa Test Scores Confirm CLA’s Approach
CLA measures success based on academic self-esteem and attitude as well as classroom performance and the Iowa Test of Basic Skills (ITBS), a standardized test used by private schools nationwide to measure achievement across academic disciplines.
